For the extra money, you get access to four decks instead of two, the ability to mix both music and videos seamlessly and the same great karaoke software. Get this full version if those abilities are worth the premium to you.

The Bad: The premium price level might place it out of reach for some DJs.

What makes PCDJ Dex great DJ software?

PCDJ Dex is the best professional DJ mixing software out there for Mac and Windows. It allows both the novice and pro DJ to mix music and music videos seamlessly and even host karaoke. These last two features really set it apart from the other DJ programs in our comparison. True it comes at a premium, but if you are a pro wanting to go that extra mile, then PCDJ Dex is the way to go.

PCDJ Dex, for both mac and for pc, gives you as the DJ full control of your media, allowing you to push the mix much further than before. Blending tracks has become easier than ever using the beat-grid based automatic beat mixing, giving you that confidence to focus on other aspects of your mix. And as Dex offers no-latency playback; hot cues, loops and all playback features it is arguably to most complete solution out there for the most demanding DJs.
